    "content": " Yes, Hon. Deputy Speaker. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I think since agriculture is the backbone of our economy and agriculture was the only sector that was able to grow during the COVID-19 menace, this is the right time to make sure that we implement the Crops (Amendment) Bill in the National Assembly such that agriculture continues to gain while COVID-19 continues to affect the other sectors seriously. We would like some of the crops to be classified as scheduled crops so that we can gain from them. Every Kenyan, whether in urban or rural areas, depends on crops in one way or another. Without them, life would be very difficult and, hence, I stand to support this Bill. Thank you."
