    "content": "If those people took up to irrigation schemes in our lowlands where water is channeled from our highlands, we would be having an alternative source of income as a Government, instead of overtaxing our citizens. Due to overtaxing and because we are not thinking of other channels of economically empowering our country, the fuel in Kenya is now at Kshs100 and above. In Uganda, it is around Kshs60. You wonder why all the fuel to Uganda passes through Kenya, but we pay more than them. So, it is high time we thought of ways of jumpstarting the agriculture sector not and only on Bixa . There are other crops like ndengu, wheat, barley and so on. The moment we empower our farmers, I am assuring you that this country will be somewhere in terms of the economy. We are not using 80 per cent of our landmass because the Government has not invested in agriculture."
