    "content": "I agree with what Sen. Were has said. It is not a very good thing, even when we speak to Kenyans who are watching on television that this Bill has been with us for more than six years. The only justice we can do to this Bill is to ensure that we now progress and finalize it. We hope that the National Assembly can do the same thing, so that it is sent to His Excellency the President for assent, and then it becomes an Act. I hope that once it is in place, the concerns she has raised will be a thing of the past. I hope we will not have a situation where Sunday school teachers will continue being teachers in our ECDE centres. As we stated, the mandate of giving guidelines on who qualifies to be an ECDE teacher has been passed over to the TSC.
