    "content": " I rise to ask Question No. 046/2021 to the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain why the Kenya Railways Corporation has recently demolished commercial and residential buildings in Gilgil Constituency? (ii) Why were the demolitions effected yet the lessors were paying the lease fees and the corresponding levies and rates to the relevant Government bodies? (iii) Could the Ministry consider compensating the affected landlords who have valid leases for loss of investments and properties and cause the corporation and other Government bodies to refund the fees collected on the properties for the interrupted period?"
