    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to second the Motion. I think it is time that as a country we applied our minds seriously to the issue of our Shilling. I say this because I have seen this Shilling rise and fall again. As outlined in the Motion, we have been waiting in vain to see the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) take the necessary steps to ensure that the Shilling is brought under control, and this is the sole responsibility of the CBK. It is the work of the CBK to control inflation; it is the work of the CBK to ensure that the exchange rates, much as they are liberalized, do not get out of control. I think the whole blame must rest on the laps of the Governor of the CBK."
