Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the First Supplementary Estimates for the Financial Year 2020/2021, laid on the Table of the House on Thursday, 18thMarch 2021and pursuant to the provisions of Article 223 of the Constitution and Standing Order 243- (i) approves an increment of the total recurrent expenditure for Financial Year 2020/2021 by Kshs19,125,524,385.00 in respect of the Votes as contained in the attached Schedule; (ii) approves an increment of the total capital expenditure for Financial Year 2020/2021 by Kshs61,579,711,818.00 in respect of the Votes as contained in the attached Schedule; (iii) approves an overall increment in the total budget for Financial Year 2020/2021 by Kshs80,705,236,203.00 in respect of the Votes as contained in the Schedule; and, (iv) resolves that the attached Schedule forms the basis for the introduction of the First Supplementary Appropriations Act, 2020/2021."
