It is clear from the Members of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture and Livestock that they are seeing this amendment for the first time. It has not even gone through public participation. This House cannot be a party or rubber stamp an illegality. The Constitution is very clear on public participation. So, the House should throw out this amendment. If it is a good amendment that would bring benefits to this country, but let the proper channels be explored. We cannot rubber stamp an illegality."
