    "content": "Hon. Speaker, our House pays over Kshs400 million for rent to Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). We also pay another Kshs60 million to other private offices for Members of Parliament. We do that basically because the office block that is supposed to be occupied by Members of Parliament is not complete. My Committee has committed to provide enough resources to make sure that the new office block for the Members of Parliament will be complete and ready for occupation by October. We want to lead by example by September this year. Each and every year, the Government spends billions of shillings to rent private offices. We want to say clearly that there are too many stalled projects. First of all, we want to complete them."
