    "content": "I appreciate the fact that Kenya is a signatory to the Abuja Declaration, which sets aside at the very least 15 per cent of the budget of the national Government to go into healthcare. Whether we have consistently done that and lived to our commitment, the jury is still out. In thanking my colleague, Sen. Musuruve for bringing this Motion, I also want to sincerely thank God for her because she is a living example that if cancer is screened and detected at the early stages, it is actually treatable and people can live their full lives. Everyone is at risk of contracting cancer, a disease that does not discriminate against privilege. Whether you are privileged or less privileged, everybody is at risk of contracting cancer."
