Deputy Speaker, I beg to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government the following Question: (i) Could he explain the criteria used and how the number of persons to be recruited into the National Police Service is arrived at in each constituency and sub-county in the country? (ii) What special consideration is given to areas where the recruits do not meet the set standards of academic performance to ensure all areas of the country are covered, and to realize the goal of achieving the face of Kenya concept in the Police Service?
