Come 2021when things seem to be getting better and the effects of the pandemic having subsided, other challenges arose contributing to food insecurity, among many households in Kenya. The main contributor of food insecurity in the households today is the rapid increase in food prices. The price of key food items has increased significantly over the past couple of months adding pressure on already cash starved households, as many lost their sources of income as a result of the pandemic."
