Records its appreciation for his immense contribution in public service to the people of Tanzania. Appreciates his efforts to foster unity and peace within the East African Community. Recognizes the high esteem in which he was held in the African Continent in his pursuit of Pan Africanism; Stands in solidarity with Her Excellency Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan, the new President of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the people of Tanzania, in the true spirit of brotherhood within the East African Community in this difficult time; and offers its profound sympathy and condolences to Her Excellency Mama Janet Magufuli and the entire family, the Government and people of the United Republic of Tanzania.
