    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise to comment on the second Petition by Hon. Florence Mutua on payment of pensions. It is an unfortunate situation. The fact remains that when you have energy, you work so hard. However, we are advised to keep some money for that time when we shall not be able to work in our older days. Unfortunately, a lot of times people have kept this money and when they retire, they are not paid. In fact, it is so bad as I have heard from my colleague, Hon. Kaluma, that there is money that is released from the Treasury to the departments for onward transmission to those people that qualify to be paid The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
