"content": "In terms of health, Matungu Constituency has one hospital called “Matungu District Hospital”. As you all know, it is one of the most ill-equipped hospitals in the country to the extent that the by-election that happened in Matungu Constituency happened because of it. The Member of Parliament who passed away, Hon. Justus Murunga, lived two kilometres from this hospital. When he collapsed, he was taken there, but there was no oxygen to save his life. He lost his life because the hospital is ill-equipped. It is as simple as that. By the time they rushed him from Matungu District Hospital to Mumias Town, which is five kilometres away, he was already dead."
