    "content": "I rise pursuant to standing Order 48(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Finance and Budget. In the Statement the Committee should- (1) State plans put in place to cushion Kenyans from different job group sectors who have been rendered jobless due to the partial lockdown put in place by Government. (2) Report on plans laid down to ensure banks restructure loans repayments period of millions of Kenyans affected by the partial lockdown. (3) Outline safety net measure put in place by Government to ensure negative social-economic impact of the COVID-19 does not further dampen Kenya’s economic growth in 2021.
