"content": "I once again thank you for the opportunity to make my comments on this Bill. As I had stated earlier, this is probably the most important Bill that this Parliament will discuss in its lifetime. This is a Bill that touches on amending the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, a document that, as a country, we hold so dearly. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I listened to Sen. Orengo yesterday and he narrated that we achieved the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 through blood and sweat. There are people who paid the ultimate price and lost their lives for us to have this Constitution. Therefore, any attempt to amend it must be a serious amendment that makes sense to Kenyans. As we debate this Bill, let us have in our minds the people that elected us to represent them. If we are amending it, it should not be for a certain group of individuals. It should be for the good of the whole country."
