    "content": "Therefore, I will conclude by saying the following; what are our options as a House? I do not think this House lacks intelligent people to guide the country in terms of what to do with such a constitutional amendment Bill. The only problem are the phone calls that keep on coming; this thing called party position and so many of these things that interfere with the independent thinking of Members of this House. I can bet that if you were to throw phones out of this House and give us six hours, we will come up with a document that will give prosperity to Kenya the way we have been dreaming about. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I plead with our colleagues. I know that there are some of our colleagues who are at this point in time working on amendments to this document. If we get to that point and I believe we will, let us support them so that we do something right and just for the people of Kenya. Otherwise, we will be left with no option but to reject it in total."
