    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I stand to support the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020. It is evoking a lot of issues that need to be discussed. First, the Joint Committee of the two Houses did a very good job of identifying what the issues were, articulating them, giving us their version from the public participation in terms of what the arguments were as they were presented and finally, giving direction in terms of where we should go to. However, I do not want us to lose sight of why we need to have this particular Bill, especially in the context of the “Handshake”, BBI Taskforce Report and Steering Committee."
