    "content": "We are touching and affecting the lives of each and every one and we must tell Kenyans why we are doing so. We have already been told, repeatedly, by some young politicians out there that we have no rights to question, that we are a rubberstamp, conveyer belt and we cannot change even a comma. If that is the case, the adage of Parliament remains; have your way, let me have my say. That is what we should give Kenyans. Give the Senate Majority and Minority Leaders the usual one hour. I also suggest that you give us 20 minutes for some Members. Some of us will require about 40 minutes so that we can ventilate on this matter as seriously and exhaustively as we can."
