"content": "Now that we are bringing the Executive back to the House, and more particularly the National Assembly, this is good for our type of democracy. We have seen how difficult it is to have this kind of separation of powers that we had. The Executive feels that they are distinct from Parliament and when they are summoned, they hesitate to come before Parliament. However, I know that the Majority Leader, Sen. Wetangula, myself and others who have grown in that system, know that when Ministers are in the House, they tend to be more reflective about how they relate not only to Members, but also to business in the House. Bringing the Executive back to Parliament is absolutely a good thing."
