    "content": "There is also a consolidated order in the petitions which bars His Excellency the President from assenting to the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020, if it is approved by the two Houses of Parliament. The order further provides that should the President assent to the Bill, the amendment shall not come into force until the determination of the petitions challenging the process are made. So, going through this, the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020 went through several processes which were initiated by the President and the former Prime Minister. They took it through the BBI through the public."
