    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for protecting me. I was submitting as follows, that it is important in future, when we shall have another opportunity to amend the law, let us give Parliament powers to amend and correct the inconsistencies of a Bill that is brought before this House. It is my humble submission that in future even before the Bill goes for signatures, let the Bill come through this House. Let us do all the amendments that we are supposed to do before we go to collect signatures and subsequently go to county assemblies so that we have an opportunity as Parliament to ensure that we exercise our powers as enshrined under Article 94 of the current Constitution.
