    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I was talking about the issues of the sugarcane farmers. I have said on the Floor of this House that Sen. Wetangula has been on the forefront, fighting for the farmers of the western region. I take cue from him and join him in saying that I would like to see a day when a sugarcane farmer in Kakamega will be treated the same way as a coffee farmer in the former Central Province. I want to see a day in this country when a sugarcane or maize farmer in Kakamega County will be treated the same way as an irish potato farmer in Kirinyaga County. That is what we call shared prosperity."
