We canvassed the whole of Uganda and went to various towns, including Kabale, Mbarara, Lira, Soroti, Gulu and Arua in the north, Kampala and many others, soliciting people’s views on how they would like the confederation to be and what it should provide. We heard supportive statements from everybody."
