    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, before I proceed, first of all, I would like to appreciate and thank the Office of the Speaker for authorizing the hon. Member to undertake that visit. Secondly, I would like also to thank the Clerk’s Chambers for facilitating the trip. Equally, I would like to thank the Members of the delegation and Members of the Committee for taking time from their families and constituents in order to serve Kenya. I would also like to thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; in particular the Europe Division for the role they played in making sure that the trip was successful. I would also like to thank Kenyans in the Diaspora. Finally, I would like to appreciate and thank the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the National Assembly of Ireland and the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, UK, for the warm welcome they accorded to the Members of the Committee."
