    "content": "For avoidance of doubt, Standing Order 72(2) provides that: “The Speaker shall direct a division to be taken in every instance where the Constitution lays down that a fixed majority is necessary to decide any question.” Given the exceptional circumstances occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, should it become necessary, I may invoke the provisions of Standing Order No.265D and direct the Clerk to facilitate Members to take part in the vote virtually. In this regard, names of Members will be called out using the Division List, with those seated in the other designated areas being allowed to come into the Chamber to vote and thereafter immediately exit the main Chamber. The process will be carried out in strict compliance with the health protocols.
