    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, in today’s newspaper, I was shocked to see that the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Treasury is planning to add 16 per cent to the cost of bread. Can you imagine this? We are pushing our people to poverty. If the prices of bread go up, the cost of living will be so high. Our people are suffering. We should think of them. The President also said that all pending bills should be paid to suppliers and contractors. Seven years down the line, they have not been paid. Some have died and others have been auctioned. These are the things we should be thinking about as a country. We are in crisis. We should not be thinking of changing the Constitution when our people are dying. I strongly oppose these amendments."
