In replying, I need to recognize all the Members, and I mean all, because I know that this is one Bill where the contributions have been very emotive and exhaustive in terms of the time given to people. Each one spoke for 20 minutes or more, and the whole House has spoken. I, therefore, wish to thank every Senator who has made a contribution to this very important historic Bill. As we have said, only once in a long while do we have a chance where we are responsible for amending the Constitution of our own country in our time as leaders and Members of Parliament. That is why I wish to thank the people who initiated this process. From the very beginning, they made it a very important function. It had to be a popular initiative and belong to the people of Kenya. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I also thank you for your ruling on this matter. It belongs to the people of Kenya, and it is not possible to bring amendments to this popular initiative. I thank you for that."
