    "content": "I would like to emphasize that the Joint Committee of Parliament recommended that the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020 be passed as it is. The Joint Committee made observations which became part of the debate. I hope that after passing this Bill, we have to live with it as part of our history and contribution to this country. The courts will try to determine what we meant and what we wanted to do through this enactment."
