    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Let me begin by commending the Committee for the detailed report they have presented and for the work they put in. This report basically puts into focus the details of what we need to do, where we are and where we have come from. I believe nothing can stand in the way of an idea whose time has come, somebody said this and I agree with it. If Members may recall for those of us who have been around for a while, you may remember the days of Voice of Kenya (VOK) before it became Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC). After news there used to be some caption, ‘ Leo katika Bunge’ and we would listen to hear who said what in a very abridge version. Obviously, there were political interferences and if you were not aligned you would never be covered."
