    "content": " Hon. Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting Clause 20 and inserting the following new clause Prohibition on 20. A state officer who takes part in a public collection state officers. shall not (a) use the office or place of work as a venue for soliciting or making public collections; or (b) obtain money from a person by using his or her official position in any way to exert pressure. The rationale or the reason is that we are trying to avoid limiting the Members of Parliament or members of county assemblies from participating in public collections. Instead, we are ensuring that State officers do not use their offices or places of work to solicit for funds. It is also to align it with the Public Officer Ethics Act."
