Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 27 of the Bill be amended - (a) by deleting sub-clause (1) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause- “(1) The National Committee or the relevant County Policing Authority shall issue to an applicant one licence in relation to the conduct of each public collection under this Act.” (b) by deleting sub-clause (2) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause- “(2) A licence issued under subsection (1) shall, unless otherwise specified by the National Committee or the relevant County Policing Authority, automatically expire upon the conduct of the public collection to which the licence issued relates.” This is a typo error. We had left out the words “National Committee”"
