"content": "This Bill is very similar to that. This Bill is trying to provide a legal framework for us to have assisted reproductive health technologies and services in this country. Not only having a legal framework but the Bill requires the Government to also invest in this reproductive health need. In short it is called ART. It alleviates the burden of infertility. It takes away the personal grief and suffering of couples who are infertile and are not able to have children. We know the grief and suffering the ladies who are infertile in our culture; the pastoralist community go through. They have a very low standing in the society. They cannot inherit from their husbands and most likely their husbands will go for a second wife because they must procreate and have children. The marriage is likely to end up in separation or divorce. We know so many of them in our regions. This technology is a big relief for them. If this Bill will enable them to have children and take away their suffering and grief, I have every reason to support it. This technology is the only hope and means for infertile couples to have children."
