However, the finding was different from what we have today. Article 27 of the Constitution provides that any citizen has the right to equal benefit and protection of the law. There should be no preferential treatment in respect to matters that are similar. With those few remarks, I would urge this House this evening not to be persuaded by this Report, and not find that the allegations against the governor have been substantiated. Thank you."
