Promises have been made to many minority and marginalized communities whether it is the Dorobos, Elmolos of this great Republic in places like Baringo County or the Malakotes, Sanye, Watta of Lamu, Sengwers of Trans Nzoia, Elgeyo Marakwet and West Pokot. All these communities have been victims of colonial injustice. Most of them, the areas where they used to live were gazetted as forests without consideration of their settlement.
