    "content": "effectiveness. Above all, there will be the welfare of the witnesses, who will be plucked away from their homes and taken away from their families. Looking at the Bill, it has tried to look at a provision to protect these witnesses not only for their own safety but also in the event that they are killed in protection. They will probably be away from their families. We will require that their families be compensated. First of all, the fact that they will be taken away from their families is, indeed, a sacrifice enough on the part of their families. It will, however, be for the course of justice and in the event their dear ones are killed away from home and in protective custody, compensation must be assured and guaranteed for the families that will be left behind. I believe that by passing this Bill we would have enhanced and strengthened our criminal justice system so that witnesses are properly protected and we will win the war against impunity in this country in future trials. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, with those few remarks, I beg to support."
