"content": "Madam Deputy Speaker, let this be an inspiration to all those ladies who aspire to run for positions like governorship, the presidency or senatorial position. Let them not wait to be bequeathed those positions because of gender. Let them prepare themselves. If President Suluhu did not prepare herself, if she did not invest in herself and the right morals and mental fortitude, she would not have found herself as the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania. This is my encouragement to womenfolk. Let us not womanize the debate. Let us humanize it, and let us find a way of ensuring that women are provided with equal opportunities."
