    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I will be the last person to cast aspersions on any other Committee. If you read the Report we have brought to this House, we are saying the response from the county government of Nakuru was less than satisfactory. We are not clearing the county government of Nakuru, arguing or objecting against the Report of the Committee of the Senate Committee on Labour and Social Protection. I am saying that we must follow up those resolutions. Mr. Speaker, Sir, when you established the Senate Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations on 21st November, 2019, you gave us a specific mandate to look at the application in line with the Urban Areas and Cities Act. The Petition on street children came to this House on 27th February, 2019. You gave us this duty on 21st November, 2019. If this matter would have been concluded within the 60 days required for petitions to be resolved, perhaps this Committee would not have initiated anything."
