"content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I want to oppose this amendment because the fact that everyone has a right to propagate their religion or convert from one religion to another is already covered under religious freedom. However, the second amendment makes sense but it can be covered under legislation. I think one of the things that we are losing sight of, which also came in hon. Mwathiâs proposed amendment, is that the Draft Constitution actually allows for legislation that will limit some of the rights to the extent that it is necessary in an open and democratic society and that does not negate or go to the core of the rights. Therefore, even the proposed amendment and Article 6 can go into legislation. I, therefore, oppose."
