    "content": "On steps taken to ensure succession planning, the State Department of Interior and Coordination of National Government sought authority, and it was granted by the PSC, to fill vacancies for chiefs and assistant chiefs as and when need arises without referring to the PSC. In the marginalised areas, there are challenges in filling vacancies for chiefs and assistant chiefs because at times we fail to get persons with the right academic qualifications. In such cases, we have been approaching PSC to grant waiver on the academic qualifications to enable filling of the vacancies so that the locations and sub-locations do not stay for long without chiefs or assistant chiefs."
