    "content": "Let me talk about agriculture. My colleagues have said that we have a lot of challenges that need to be addressed. As everybody knows, agriculture is the backbone of this economy. It is an area that needs to be looked into. Despite the importance of the agriculture sector and its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), economic growth, employment, foreign exchange and raw materials for the industrial sector, it is grossly underfunded to the tune of Kshs25.8 billion. Something needs to be done because agriculture is an area that should be looked into."
