(i) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain the circumstances of the planned leasing of Mumias Sugar Company by the Kenya Commercial Bank Group and its appointed receiver manager? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary confirm whether the intended leasing process is participatory and whether stakeholders, including the National Government, the County Government of Kakamega, the Nairobi Stock Exchange and farmers have been engaged?"
