Speaker, alongside the Credit Guarantee Scheme, on account of improved business environment, the private sector has rolled out other innovative credit products targeting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Through these innovations, the banking sector had disbursed over Kshs20.8 billion to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, equivalent to 0.7 per cent of total gross loans by the end of April 2021.
