Speaker, working with the Kenya Bankers Association and other industry players, we shall establish an electronic over-the–counter secondary market platform for Government securities. This platform will help in deepening our domestic debt market, improve pricing efficiency and transparency in securities trading, thereby lowering yields and cost of credit in the economy. We expect the operations of the over-the–counter secondary market platform to be in place by June 2022."
