    "content": "Given the disparities in the design of the various existing pension schemes and the attendant laws, it has become necessary to harmonise these laws. Hence, there is the need for the establishment of one National Retirement Policy. The Policy which is currently under development seeks to achieve comprehensive pension coverage across formal and informal sector, so as to protect the interests of beneficiaries and rights of pension contributors. In this regard, I shall publish this Policy by December 2021."
