    "content": "Hon. Speaker, to effectively manage disaster response in a more coordinated manner, the Government has developed a Disaster Risk Management Bill, 2021. The objective of the Bill is to prepare better and coordinate our disaster response, mitigation and recovery, as well as build resilience at both national and county level. Given the urgency to provide a framework for disaster management at both levels of Government, I appeal to this House to prioritise the consideration of this Bill."
