    "content": "In the last two months of May and June, a number of human-wildlife conflict cases were reported in Voi Constituency, Taita Taveta County. The cases arise as a result of marauding elephants from Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. They invaded Mbololo and Ngolia locations, as well as Kasigau, Miasenyi, Marungu and Lower Sagala areas, causing injuries and loss of lives to the people, and destroying crops and properties. Thus, it affects community livelihood. In some cases, the elephants also impose curfew in the villages. The Government, through the Ministry of Wildlife and other related agencies, has not addressed this challenge comprehensively."
