This Constitution must, first and foremost, bring sanity and freedom to the political parties in this country. That is why Kenyans asked for the provision of independent candidates. When you differ with the chairman or secretary-general of your political party on opinion or matters concerning your people and you are thrown out of the party, you have a recourse or safety net."
