    "content": "I also want to emphasise that the Bill was seeking to re-introduce excise duty on locally manufactured confectionary but in our wisdom, we have decided that to protect the confectionary industry which employs hawkers, small kiosks and many SME’s, we plan to levy 35 per cent tax on all imported confectionary to support the hawkers, local industries among others.
