    "content": "The Bill says that these investors will qualify for investment deduction on costs. This is likely to open a window for licensing of private electricity companies. We need to support this amendment. It will reduce the monopolistic tendencies of Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC). If there are investors who can supply power to a certain locality, we have off-grid now, and we must support them, so that KPLC can compete with them."
